The Heather 45th Anniversary Raffle

Run by ProEdX in aid of Heather Secondary School

45 years. 45 prizes. R45 a ticket.

Heather Secondary School in Northdale, Pietermaritzburg turns 45 this year. To mark it, ProEdX is running a society lottery to raise funds for the school and for the educators who shape its learners.

A properly run lottery

ProEdX NPC is the registered promoter of this raffle. It is a society lottery registered with the National Lotteries Commission (Scheme No. 00573/01). We run every part of it, from the tickets to the draw, and we account to the regulator for all of it.

What you could win

45 prizes, worth around R164,000 in total. The headline prizes:

• A well-maintained baby-blue 1977 VW Beetle 1300, the top prize, drawn last on the night

• An HP laptop

• Four Sun International getaways, two-night stays for two, two at Wild Coast Sun and two at Sibaya Lodge

• Ten Hallmark watches

The rest of the 45 are revealed over the coming weeks. Keep watching.

Where your R45 goes

All net proceeds go to public-benefit work:

• 60% to Heather Secondary School, towards a dedicated kitchen for its nutrition programme and a sheltered waiting area for learners.

• 40% to ProEdX’s programmes for public-school educators and school leaders.

Good schools are built by the people who lead them well. That is where our share goes.
